Traditional dundun and djembe workshop with Barra O Flanniagh.
Barra comes from Monasteraden, south Sligo where he established his training school Slí na Croí - Malinke music of upper Guinea in 2009.
Barra fell in love with the village fete style of djembe and dundun drumming and has made it his life sharing this music with others. He has studied himself extensively in Guinea west Africa along with studies in Europe and hosting Guinea masters here in Ireland over the years.
His workshop will be open to those completely new to drumming as well as any advanced players attending the festival. Drums will be provided but if you have your own your welcome to bring.
