Forest School

Join Emma and Manuela for a Forest School session, where young children can connect with nature through play and art in a beautiful woodland setting. Come
prepared for all weather: we will get muddy!

Manuela Dei Grandi is an environmental photographer and activist based in Corca Dhuibhne. She has been working as a nature-inspired artist in Kerry schools over
the past few years and at Earthsong. Emma Hynes is a holistic social care worker incorporating trauma informed yoga and mindfulness for teenagers. She has worked with children and teens for over 8 years specifically those who are at risk, or find themselves interacting with the world
differently than the ‘norm’. Emma has found nature to be a safe container for young people to flourish!

Forest School is an all weather, all year holistic based nature based education system, led by the child in a natural environment. Practitioners are professionally
trained and risky play is encouraged to assist the physical, emotional and social growth of the young person.

Together Emma and Manuela bring creativity, skills and enthusiasm to create a safe and fun environment to allow children to develop positive relationships with
themselves, others and the natural world.
