Liam Ó Maonlaí

Best known as a member of the rock group Hothouse Flowers, which he formed in 1985, Liam is a musician, singer & composer with deep roots in traditional Irish music. A man of convictions, Liam is a member of the international Nuclear Free Future movement. And his cross-cultural musical adventures are many including that captured in the documentary Dambé – The Mali Project (2008) that highlights the links between Irish music and that of north and west Africa.
