Sarah Franklyn

Sarah Franklyn is a songwriter, session vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and arranger, and has toured across the globe as a musician & vocalist with artists such as Hans Zimmer & Sally Oldfield, Trinidadian soul & pop singer Mac Kissoon and numerous opener “special guest” slots that include Paul Brady and Shane McGowan & the Popes & Solas at the Great American Music Hall & Luka Bloom, Jim Campilongo at Slim’s, in San Francisco. Kenya-born, her song-writing palette draws from the rhythms of her African homeland & the genre of Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits, Bonnie Raitt – soul, jazz, trad. & blues. She is currently working on her second solo album.
