Unhinged

Unhinged” was formed by chance when the groupʼs members were assigned to an ensemble as part of their coursework in the Irish Traditional Music Performance masters programme at the University of Limerick.

The group, whose members hail from Clare, Donegal, the USA, and France, found common footing through a mutual love of the driving rhythms and soulful melodies that make up a part of contemporary Irish traditional music. Since its inception, the band has enjoyed collaborating to create unique arrangements of traditional music, and has performed at various venues around Limerick and beyond.
